#79 Films I recently watched…

I filled my weekend with watching new films and because I found them all so brilliant, I decided to blog about them, they are…

Lincoln

Lincoln-movie-wallpapers-3

As the Civil War continues to rage, America’s president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves.

96 Minutes

80819

‘The story of 4 lives slammed together in a shocking moment. Intercutting between a carjacking and the separate stories of the 4 kids in Atlanta, we watch as they hurtle toward a life-changing end.’

Hitchcook

Hitchcock_0

‘A love story between influential filmmaker Alfred Hitchcook and wife Alma Reville during the filming of Psycho (1960) in 1959.’

All three of these films are brilliant because of story plots, the chosen talented cast and the message that each film has, whether it is history, making of film or how an act and split second decision can change anything. I have added a snippet that is on Imdb describing the film and when you watch it you realise just how brilliant this film is and how the snippet just touches the side to what goes on in all three of these films. The talented cast in all three films make these films even better and of course the fact they all have three messages in them which is the most important.

Daniel Day Lewis in Lincoln was just superb, as was Anthony Hopkins as Mr Hitchcook – looked, sounded and act the part to the tee. The way Brittany Snow acts all different emotion in this 96 minute film. Which is why I chose to write a little snippet about these films because I thought they were so great!!
