#58 New Trailers

I have to tell you all there are some great new film trailers out! I have an IMDB app on my iPhone so I’m automatically updated when ever a new trailer comes on the scene and there are some great ones which hopefully means there are some great films coming after them.

Let me list some of the film trailers that are pretty amazing and the films I think will follow in the footsteps of greatness, you have;


Saving Mr Banks (2013). The Plot: Author P.L. Travers reflects on her difficult childhood while meeting with filmmaker Walt Disney during production for the adaptation of her novel, Marry Poppins. Featuring some brilliant actors and actresses including Emma Thompson, Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Rachel Griffiths and Jason Schwartzman. This film just looks brilliant, the story of Mary Poppins being made into a film by Walt Disney is just glorious! I cannot wait to see this film, it is going to be just marvellous! Released – 29th November 2013, this Friday!!!


Frozen (2013). The plot: Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. Featuring some amazing voices for this animated film including Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Alan Tudyk & Ciaran Hinds. This animated trailer looks just brilliant and I can’t wait for the film to come out. Released – 6th December 2o13.


Kill Your Darlings (2013). The Plot: A murder in 1944 draws together the great poets of the best generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs. Featuring a talented cast including Daniel Radcliff, Dane DeHaan, Michael C. Hall, Ben Foster, David Cross & Elizabeth Olsen. That is just a small section of the cast so you can see how much talent will be featuring in this film. The film looks brilliant & I cannot wait to watch it, it comes to the cinemas on the 6th December 2013.


Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013). The Plot: With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy, returns to take New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm. This film is back and this trailer shows the snippets of how great this film is going to be. It is a long time coming but this film is going to be hopefully even greater than the trailer especially because of the line up you have involved Will Farrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson, Vince Vaughn, David Koechner, Luke Wilson, John C. Reily, Kristin Wiig, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Sacha Baron Cohen, Greg Kinnear, Nicole Kidman, James Marsden & Kirsten Dunst. I mean really!!! Going to be AMAZING. Released on – 18th December 2013.


All is Lost (2013). The Plot: After a collision with a shipping container at sea, a resourceful sailor finds himself, despite all efforts to the contrary, starring his mortality in the face. This film looks like it will be an emotional one, the trailer captures everything you need to know about the film but leaves you wanting more & with the oh so talented Robert Redford more what could you want. Released – Boxing Day 26th December 2013.


American Hustle (2013). The Plot: A Con man, Irving Rosenfeld, along with his seductive British partner Sydney Prosser is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso. DiMaso pushes them into a wold of jersey powerbrokers and mafia. This trailer made me want to go watch it in the first 20 seconds & I cannot wait until it comes out, brilliant story line, love the fashion and of course the cast; Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, & Jeremy Renner. Going to be super dooper!  Released – 3rd January 2014.


August: Osage County (2013). The Plot: A look at the lives of the strong-willed women of the Weston family, whose paths have diverged until a family crisis brings them back to the Oklahoma house they grew up in, and to the dysfunctional woman who raised them. I watched this trailer a while back & I have probably watched it over five times because I love it, it has everything I want in a film; death, fights, love, emotion, laughter, humour all brought together. Then you have the talented, talented cast Meryl Streep, Dermot Mulroney, Julia Roberts, Juliette Lewis, Abigail Breslin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ewan McGregor, Julianne Nicholson, Sam Shepard, Margo Martindale & Chris Cooper. I cannot wait for this to come out, amazing trailer going to be a beautiful brilliant film. Released – 17th January 2014.


12 Years a Slave (2013). The Plot: In the antebellum United Stated, Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery. This film has been everywhere recently, I cannot wait to see it, the trailer is so touching and I know the film will be just like that but on a much bigger scale. This film will be emotional but a great one especially with the talented cast that are involved, including; Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael K. Williams, Michael Fassbender & Brad Pitt.   Released 24th January 2014.


Winter’s Tale (2014). The Plot: A burglar falls for an heiress as she dies in his arms. When he learns that he has the gift of reincarnation, he sets out to save her. For me this film trailer was just beautiful, it gave me goose bump’s and made my hair stand up on my neck, this film is full of love and warmth and that is what is so lovely. This film features an amazing cast including; Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Russell Crowe, Will Smith, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Durand, Matt Bomer & Lucy Griffiths. I cannot wait for this film to be released – 21st February 2014 going to be just a beautiful film.
